What MD Programs We Offer?

5 YR MD Program

This unique program begins with 4 accelerated semesters of pre-medical courses, which are then followed by the 4-year MD curriculum. The medium of instruction is English. For applicants who have completed any prior college/university level courses transfer credits may be awarded an admission specialist can provide further information.

4 YR MD Program

The 4-year MD program is a full-time program that groups medical education, clinical training, board review, and in-between semester breaks together. The program is composed of 19 months of basic science courses followed by 2 years of clinical sciences, which include 72 weeks of clinical rotations.

At AUSOMA, we are committed to providing our students with valuable hands-on experience. Upon successfully passing USMLE Step 1, students are guaranteed clinical rotations at our affiliated hospitals across the United States. These rotations offer real-world experience, enhancing your clinical skills and preparing you for your medical career.

4 Steps to Apply to AUSOMA

Start Online application

Students must pay a $100 non-refundable application fee.

Submit all required documents

Personal statement, current resume or CV, official transcripts, and two recommendation letters

Admissions Interview

Applicants will be invited for an admissions interview after their application is reviewed.

Decision

Students will receive an admission decision by email from the Office of Admissions. Decisions are typically sent within 2 to 4 weeks.

Admissions Requirements

Submit an online application with a non-refundable $100 fee.
Provide Official transcripts from all universities attended (undergraduate, graduate, medical, and professional). Unofficial transcripts are accepted for admission purposes.
Include a current Resume/CV and a personal statement detailing your career goals in medicine, leadership roles, and achievements.
Provide Two Letters of References: one from a faculty member or, if out of school for 1+ year, from an employer/manager. Referees will receive a request to submit their references.
